The City of Clovis is sponsoring three, free workshops in February to help businesses save money and be more successful. Workshop topics include business finance, ADA compliance and Fresno Energy Watch.
Business Financing 101
The topics covered will be: Understanding Commercial Lending Tools, Key Elements of Financial Capacity and Loan Packaging. The workshop will be led by Rich Mostert with the Valley Small Business Development Center.
Date: February 5, 2014, Wednesday
Time: 5:30 PM
Americans with Disabilities Act Business Compliance
Are your doors, signs, restrooms, tables, shelves, mats, or hallways ADA compliant? Educate yourself on key components of the ADA law and on how you can make your business compliant. Ignorance of the law can be a very costly mistake.
Date: February 20, 2012, Thursday
Time: 7:30 AM-9:00 AM
Fresno Energy Watch
Fresno Energy Watch assists businesses in becoming more energy efficient, offers no-cost energy assessments for your business, zero-interest financing options for any upgrades, and information about rebate eligibility.
Make your energy upgrades now because starting July 1, 2014, the State is putting into effect new Title 24 energy efficiency building standards. All building permits pulled after July 1st will require builders to meet new standards through additional regulations.
Attend the workshop to learn how to save money on your energy costs.
Date: February 27, 2014, Thursday
Time: 9 A.M.
All of the workshops will be held in:
The Public Safety Community Room,
1233 Fifth Street, Clovis
