 Temporary Developer Fee Suspension

Developer Picture

The City of Clovis has temporarily suspended the sewer and water major facilities impact fees between January 1, 2011 and June 20, 2012.  This temporary suspension applies to office and industrial development as identified by the general plan to encourage employment generating development.

To qualify, a developer must obtain Site Plan Review approval for a qualifying project prior to June 30, 2012.  The developer would then be required to obtain construction permits within one year of the Site Plan Approval date.  Sewer and water fee relief would be granted to projects meeting these deadlines and other criteria designated in the approved resolution.  This opportunity is available for both new development and any planned expansion or relocation that includes expansion of existing office or industrial properties that qualify.

For more information, please contact Tina Sumner at (559) 324-2082.

 PBIA-No Development Fees

The City of Clovis does not have development fees for the Parking and Business Improvement Area (PBIA).  The Old Town Area is the venue for most community events in Clovis, including Big Hat Days, Clovis Rodeo, Clovis Farmer's Market, National Pole Vault Championship, Antiques and Collectibles Fair, and many other annual events that draw thousands of people to Clovis.

Developers interested in developing in the PBIA area should contact Tina Sumner, Director, Community & Economic Development.
