On Sunday morning, July 16, 2017, just after 9:00 A.M., Clovis Police received a 911 call from a cell phone in the 100 block of W Richert Ave (north of Ashlan Ave., west of Minnewawa Ave).  While Officers were responding to the area, our dispatchers determined that it was a family disturbance at a residence where someone had been shot. Officers arrived on scene within three minutes and quickly set a perimeter while dispatchers received more information from family members.  Officers made sure the scene was safe, and EMS attended to the subject who had been shot. The subject was transported to an area hospital where they are being treated. During the investigation, it was found that the subject had been shot by another family member during an argument. All involved subjects have been contacted, and there is no one outstanding. Detectives and Crime Scene personnel will be on scene investigating until later this afternoon. This investigation has led to the arrest of a juvenile who has been arrested and will be transported to Fresno County Juvenile Hall.
