Sponsorship Opportunity

Clovis Area Recreation (CAR) would like to offer a sponsorship opportunity to the community. This opportunity is for local businesses or families that would like to sponsor the Clovis Batting Range.

The Clovis Batting Range is located in Sierra Bicentennial Park (Sunnyside and Sierra). The Batting Range features 8 baseball machines, 3 fast pitch softball machines and 2 slow pitch softball machines. The Range is open 7-days a week, year-round and offers equipment rentals and a full-service snack bar. The Batting Range was used over 61,000 tmes last year.

Sponsorship Packages

There are several types of sponsorship packages that are available. Each sponsorship package includes the placement of a banner for one year. You may choose to have a banner located at the Clovis Recreation Center, the Clovis Batting Range, or at both locations. CAR will create the banner for you or you may provide a banner of your own at a discounted rate. The banners will be 3' X 6' and be printed in one color. Additional changes can be made at an additional cost. The following is the cost for each package:

$300.00 Sponsorship (Banner included)
$200.00 Sponsorship (Provide your own banner)
$150.00 Renewal fee for sponsorship

Friends of Clovis Area Recreation

The Friends of Clovis Area Recreation was formed in response to a severe 80% cut to Clovis Area Recreation's budget in 2009. This grassroots organization was conceived by local residents to help identify resources throughout the Clovis area in order to restore many of the 60+ programs that were canceled. Our goal is to raise $85,000 and help sustain Clovis Area Recreation through June, 2010. We aim to reopen the programs lost in the budget cuts, and continue to serve the wonderful city of Clovis.
