CalRecycle Grant

In 2011, the City of Clovis was awarded a $150,710 grant from CalRecycle’s Rubberized Asphalt Concrete (RAC) Chip Seal Program.  The City utilized this grant in cooperation with the County of Fresno to install 191,810 square yards of rubberized asphalt concrete on various local residential streets throughout our community.  This project diverted a total of 5,850 waste tires from California landfills.
