Most Traffic Collision Reports that occurred on or after XXXX XX, 2018 are available online. Traffic Collision Reports that have a criminal component (DUI, Hit and Run with a suspect, etc) or that are still under investigation are not available online nor are reports that are over 2 years old. There may be other circumstances in addition to those listed above that prevent online release. When should you expect your report to be available online?
Generally, a Traffic Collision Report will be available 15 days after the date of the collision. If you are unable to locate your report after this time frame, please contact the Records Division at 559-324-2400 during normal business hours.
Cost to you?
The cost for obtaining your report online is $X.XX. Once payment is successfully processed, your report will be emailed to you within 30 minutes.

Who can request a copy of a Traffic Collision Report?
California Vehicle Code 20012 states in part that Traffic Collision Reports be made available to the driver(s) involved, the parent of a minor driver, the authorized representative of a driver, any injured person, the owners of vehicles or property damaged, and any attorney representing the above persons.
To use this online system, you will need the Traffic Collision Report number YYYY-000XXXXX, the date of the collision and the Last Name of the party you are representing.
